MEALS & DAILY CARE

Care in the Everyday Moments

A child’s day is shaped by many small moments, sharing a meal, washing hands, putting on a jacket, using the bathroom, or settling down to rest. We approach these routines with patience and respect, giving children time to participate rather than always doing things for them.

Teachers stay nearby to help when needed while encouraging each child to try what they can independently. Familiar routines help children feel comfortable at school and proud of what they are learning to do for themselves.

AROUND THE TABLE

Mealtimes are calm and social. Children enjoy food together, practice conversation and table manners, and help care for their eating space.

“I CAN DO IT”

From washing hands to putting away personal belongings, children take part in their own care at a level that feels manageable.

TIME TO REST

Quiet routines and a comfortable setting help children slow down, rest, and return to the day feeling refreshed.
