Avocado Gives
Caring for Our Community, Together
At Avocado Montessori Academy, kindness, responsibility, and care extend beyond the classroom. Avocado Gives is a school-led initiative through which we support local families and trusted community partners with school resources, meaningful projects, and practical assistance.
As this initiative grows, we hope to create thoughtful and sustainable ways for our school community to care for others.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
We support trusted local organizations through school contributions, community projects, and essential supplies.
DIRECT FAMILY SUPPORT
When specific needs arise, we hope to provide thoughtful, practical assistance while protecting each family’s dignity and privacy.
FUTURE TUITION ASSISTANCE
As Avocado Gives grows, we hope to offer limited, school-funded tuition assistance to enrolled families experiencing unexpected financial hardship.
OUR FIRST COMMUNITY PROJECT
Summer Market for Mary’s Place
Through our community-created Summer Market, children practiced creativity, collaboration, and generosity while raising $910 for families in our community. Avocado Montessori Academy matched the proceeds and covered the remaining purchase amount, bringing the total contribution to $1,820.43.
Together, we provided Mary’s Place with 20 cases of diapers, 20 cases of baby wipes, and 31 sets of towels.
